Eden Mill has launched Brunch at The Lookout, a £35 brunch in the cafe and bar on the top floor of its distillery at Guardbridge in Fife, overlooking the Eden Estuary. The first sitting is Saturday 7 November.
The menu uses producers from along the Fife coast: sourdough from Barnett’s in Anstruther, smoked fish from the East Neuk and free-range eggs from Blyths of Fife. Guests start with a hot drink, fresh juices and a plate from the grazing table, followed by a cooked main, from thick-cut back bacon with butter-fried potatoes and spiced apple ketchup to a Scotch pancake stack with maple syrup. There are vegetarian and vegan options.
“It’s a relaxed, indulgent way to start the weekend, and we can’t wait to welcome our first guests,” said Steven Kersley, chief executive of Eden Mill.
Dates and booking
Brunch runs on 7, 8, 28 and 29 November and on 4 and 5 December, with sittings from 11:30 to 13:00. Menu and booking details are at edenmill.com/pages/brunch-at-the-lookout.
