UK data centre and digital infrastructure platform Pulsant is expanding its infrastructure partner ecosystem with the addition of three new members, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce said. The new partners are global technology company HPE, UK managed web hosting specialist HA Managed Hosting, and Edinburgh-based cloud data storage specialist Extraordinary Data Cloud.

According to Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, the Pulsant ecosystem brings together UK digital infrastructure, global technology capabilities and specialist expertise to help UK regional businesses tackle digital challenges, allowing organisations to access a trusted network of partners through a single ecosystem rather than sourcing infrastructure, connectivity, cloud and specialist services from multiple suppliers.

Wendy Shearer, Director of Partnerships and Ecosystems at Pulsant, said businesses are navigating increasing AI adoption, data sovereignty requirements and growing cyber resilience demands, and that as infrastructure requirements become more complex, organisations need access to a broader range of specialist expertise. She said: “The Pulsant Ecosystem creates value on both sides of the equation. Clients gain access to a trusted ecosystem of expertise spanning networking, cloud, security and data management, while partners can collaborate and combine their capabilities to solve complex challenges.” She added that Pulsant was excited to welcome HPE, HA Managed Hosting and Extraordinary Data Cloud, and looked forward to adding further partners in the months ahead.

The expanded ecosystem combines HPE’s global capabilities across compute, storage, networking, hybrid cloud and AI infrastructure with the specialist managed services expertise of HA Managed Hosting and Extraordinary Data Cloud, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce said. HPE was described as bringing significant technology expertise and scale, widening the range of solutions available across private and hybrid cloud, sovereign infrastructure and AI-ready environments.

Charlie Tunley, Channel & Partner Ecosystem Director, UKIMEA at HPE, said organisations are increasingly seeking secure and sovereign infrastructure platforms to support AI and data-intensive workloads, adding: “Together with Pulsant, we’ll help UK businesses access the technology and expertise they need to innovate with confidence.”

HA Managed Hosting and Extraordinary Data Cloud were said to bring specialist expertise complementing Pulsant’s core infrastructure capabilities, particularly in cloud, resilience, object storage, data sovereignty and managed infrastructure.

The Pulsant Ecosystem, launched in April 2024, now includes more than 30 connectivity, cloud and technology partners, according to Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, with other members including the London Internet Exchange, Megaport, Specialist Computer Centres and Zayo Europe.
