BTO Solicitors LLP has reported rising turnover and profit for the year ended 31 March 2026, alongside continued investment in its business.
BTO Solicitors LLP has published accounts for the year ended 31 March 2026 showing what the firm described as another year of strong financial performance and continued investment in the future of the business.
The firm recorded turnover of £23.1 million, an increase of 9.0% on the previous financial year, while profit before members’ remuneration and profit shares increased by 11.1% to £7.9 million, according to the firm. BTO Solicitors LLP said cash generated from operations continued to strengthen and that it had substantially reduced its external borrowings during the year.
Grant Hunter, Managing Partner of BTO Solicitors LLP, said the results “represent another excellent year for the firm and reflect the quality of our people, the strength of our client relationships and the benefits of the investments we have made across the business.”
Hunter said that despite continuing economic uncertainty, the firm delivered growth in revenue, profitability and cash generation while maintaining its focus on providing service to clients. He said the firm also continued to invest significantly in its people, technology and operational infrastructure, including the development of AI-enabled solutions and other strategic initiatives intended to support the long-term success of the firm.
Hunter said the firm’s financial position allows it to continue investing with confidence in the future, attracting talented individuals to the partnership and enhancing the services it provides to clients across Scotland and beyond.
He thanked colleagues and clients for their support and contribution to what he called another successful year, adding that the firm had entered the 2026/27 financial year with a sound balance sheet.
