Ossian Architects director gains RIAS conservation accreditation
Martin Flett, director of Edinburgh-based Ossian Architects, has been awarded RIAS Accreditation in Conservation Architecture, recognising his expertise in working with listed and traditional buildings.
Recognition for heritage expertise
Martin Flett, a director at Ossian Architects on George Street, Edinburgh, has achieved RIAS Accreditation in Conservation Architecture from the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.
The accreditation formally recognises specialist skills in conservation work, an area the practice says has become an increasingly significant part of its output as it takes on projects involving existing buildings, listed structures and traditional building fabric.
About the practice
Ossian Architects is a Chartered Practice with both RIBA and RIAS, and holds Certified B-Corporation status. The firm was recognised at the Scottish Design Awards 2025, winning gold in the interior design projects under £250k category for its work on Lannan Bakery.
The firm is based at 80 George Street, Edinburgh.
